Checking out the start gate at Beurne, Germany

This was at the 1986 German GP at Beurne.

Camel Boots was on off-shoot of Camel cigarettes, intended, I believe, to get around the tobacco advertising ban – selling footwear, not cigarettes. There were a bunch of other variants too – Camel Adventures, Camel Collection, and, if I recall correctly, Camel ‘Off Road, Centre de Pilotage’ (Camel riding school?). No fooling anyone though really.

Levior is a brand of helmets.
